In 2025, ZOIRSAN Elevator (China) and Sagami Elec Co., Ltd. (Japan) signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement, strengthening collaboration in technology, management, and branding. The partnership continuously introduces Japan's most advanced elevator technologies, forming a new landscape of "dual R&D hubs in China & Japan, global network layout". In 2026, the two companies will further expand their cooperation. Sagami Elec Co., Ltd. (Japan) will authorize ZOIRSAN Elevator (China) to use the "SAGAMI" global trademark. ZOIRSAN Elevator, integrating Japanese technology and Chinese smart manufacturing, will enter global markets, realizing the international brand strategy of "Developed in Japan・Made in China・Serving the World".

Over the past decade since 2015, ZOIRSAN Elevator has introduced three product categories and five technology platforms from Sagami Elec (Japan), covering residential elevators (worm geared screw drive and traction models) and passenger elevators (machine-room-less and small-machine-room models). Fully aligned with Sagami Elec (Japan)'s high standards in design, manufacturing, and quality, ZOIRSAN Elevator pursues excellence across the entire lifecycle from design, material selection, and manufacturing to installation and maintenance, ensuring technologically advanced products and consistently reliable quality. We have established R&D and testing centers in Nagoya, Japan (adjacent to Mitsubishi Electric Inazawa Works and Mitsubishi Electric Home Elevator Corporation), as well as in Shanghai and Ningbo, China. Supported by a smart manufacturing base, 16 elevator hoist test towers, and a central laboratory platform, we have built a collaborative innovation network spanning the Asia-Pacific region and serving global markets, continuously delivering safe, intelligent, and efficient residential and passenger elevator solutions.

Since 2012, ZOIRSAN Elevator has been researching the residential elevator market. In 2013, it established a residential elevator R&D center with the predecessor of Sagami Elec Co., Ltd. (Japan), initiating a new chapter of innovation through Sino-Japanese technological collaboration. Beginning in 2015, ZOIRSAN Elevator formally introduced Japan's complete residential elevator technology system into China, and in 2016 completed the localization of its first model. The two co-founders and Chief Technical Experts of Sagami Elec (Japan) both originated from a leading century-old Japanese elevator manufacturer. They led the development of its first residential elevator, small-machine-room passenger elevators, and machine-room-less passenger elevators. With more than 30 years of engineering expertise, they have defined Sagami's Japanese engineering heritage and strict quality standards.
